Sustainability Research Analyst
As a small but growing business, we offer individuals the opportunity and responsibility to undertake a diverse range of sustainability oriented research work – from ecosystem services to human rights to corporate governance. Our Research Team builds the evidence base underpinning all client services and the Value2SocietyTM online platform.
About you:
Educated to degree (or higher degree) level in a relevant discipline (e.g. economics, natural sciences etc.)
Comfortable presenting research findings and insights, utilising engaging methods and tools
Knowledge of economic valuation of non-market goods / services is an advantage
Experience of statistical analysis of data is an advantage (e.g. Stata, R etc.)
Passionate about sustainability and how businesses can contribute to its global achievement
Key Responsibilities:
Identifying, collating and utilising best available information resources to provide new insight in response to priority research questions arising as part of client engagement
Developing new innovative, insightful and consistent approaches to evaluate new impacts based on real research
Development and implementation of research standards that are consistently applied to ensure quality and accuracy in all research outputs
Structuring and maintenance of all information to provide business wide access to research papers, references, documents and datasets
Challenging the research outputs in order to verify the validity of the information, and ensuring they are fit for purpose
Proactively identifying new areas of research to advance Route2’s knowledge and capabilities
Surfacing new research findings to aid external communications and business development
Contributing to business development and client deliveries as required
