Advisory

Our advisory work largely concerns impact quantification and valuation. From tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions, cubic metres of water pollution, gender representation in management to the associated (external) costs of these emissions and inequalities. Our catalogue of impact methodologies include positives, such as carbon sequestration, provision of other ecosystem services, training & development etc.
We work with both corporations and investors and apply our methodologies across value chains, capturing the impacts of direct operations, ‘upstream’ resulting from spend patterns, and ‘downstream’ stemming from the performance of goods and services. These methodologies operate equally and effectively at the company, fund and index level.
At a more profound level we assist clients to re-examine the meaning of value – its creation, preservation, and erosion. A comprehensive engagement will deliver fully quantified Value2Society™ and associated Value@Stake™ position statements. These statements communicate the external value of operations (experienced by various stakeholders) and the proportion of this external value likely to translate to financial costs and revenue opportunities, over various time frames. By doing so, these statements uniquely permit the effective integration of sustainability considerations to business strategies and business models.
